Willow Art

The Willow Tree has a reputation - just from its name - as being an almost melancholic and sad tree, with its leaning branches and long leaves giving it the look that it is almost crying, but not all trees are like that. Paintings by Claude Monet create a powerful appreciation for nature within the brushstrokes of the willows, and photographs of willow trees done at angles closer up show the bright green life of moss and bark on the hanging branches.

Paintings of willow trees are affairs often meant to display the tree's more beautiful side - lush branches filled with green leaves hang low over bridges of mossy banks in a way which is almost bowing to the creator capturing its likeness - a way which you can transfer by placing the posters up on a wall of your own home to accentuate your own styles.

For those who want a more homely touch, a stylized depiction of a willow tree done in paints and pencils - accompanied by a blessing tied to the willow tree - might create something a bit closer to home, even as for those who do wish for a more somber look a black and white photograph of a willow tree standing alone in the distance can do just that.

Paintings and pictures of willow trees are there to bring some of the sights of nature to life in a way that mingles in with your own homely style - they stand well on their own, but some smaller posters might appreciate the company of other similar pictures.
