Author Chuck Palahniuk said in his novel entitled Damned, “What makes earth feel like Hell is our expectation that it should feel like Heaven.” Many have been fascinated by the uncertainty of the afterlife , if there really is one or not. The concept of heaven and hell has been depicted in many literary works.
