Jackie Robinson Posters

Baseball has always been a beautiful game, but it took a while until the stain of racism was finally removed and the best athletes were allowed to play together. Now when performance is the only decisive factor, it is easy to forget about those dark times, but there is a great way to keep the memory alive, without looking back with resentment. The Jackie Robinson Art Prints at Picasso.com brilliantly achieve this, while also celebrating a formidable athlete, one of the best in the history of baseball.

Robinson played his entire career for the Brooklyn Dodgers and over those nine years, he set a couple of important personal milestones. By playing for his team in the 1947, he became the first African American to have played in the Major League Baseball after 77 years. There are plenty of Jackie Robinson posters celebrating the moment when the Dodgers put aside any prejudice and racism by playing him.

Jackie overcame a lot of adversity and even though he was derided by some opponents and contested by a few teammates, he did his part and did it well. This is why the Jackie Robinson photographs are still inspiring after all those years and prospective customers are attracted to them more than to other artwork. Picasso.com has amassed an impressive collection of Jackie Robinson Art Prints featuring his debut in the MLB, but also key moments in his career.
