The styles for beer art are varied, although most of them have a vintage appeal and strong graphic qualities in their execution. Modern artist, Alphonse Mucha created several kinds of beer art, the most famous of which is his work, 'Bieres de la Meuse', which portrays a beautiful woman enjoying a stein of dark ale while staring off in peaceful contemplation at the distance. Like most of Mucha's work, this painting blends graphic design with classic representational forms.

Flat art is also a popular style among beer artists. Ryan Fowler's beer arts have become highly popular because of their even, often symmetrical, compositions. Unlike Mucha, however, he chooses to depict man's best friend along with an assortment of brews. Fowler's paintings depict pugs, golden retrievers, labradors, and dachshunds with equal skill. His works are easy to imagine decorating a bartender's wall with their subdued colors and vintage pop art feel.

As a choice for interior design, these beer artworks are not only appealing to the eye, but also serve to enhance the area around them. These works would be suitable for nearly any cozy space whether it was decorated with heavy wooden furniture or 1950's chrome stools. Also, the subtle hues of these works allow them to blend in with the background until needed, lending an air of quiet festivity to the entire room rather than individually vying for the viewer's undivided attention.
