Farm Art

Farm art has been a favorite decoration choice for interior designers for a long time. This category is especially popular in America, where artistic farmland scenes have been a traditional subject among native artists since the country was founded. Framed farm art includes scenes of animals, organic produce, seasons, and other aspects of farm life.
The reason behind this artwork's popularity is usually attributed to the vibrant colors present in this work, as well as the timeless themes of home, family, harmony, peace, and a simple life. The most common subjects in this category are the people that spend their lives working the land, however, all aspects of farm life are available for contemplation in these works, from a wide assortment of animals to different kinds of fruits and vegetables.

One of the most beloved artists who explore this lifestyle in his work is Jack Sorenson. His bright, richly colored works focus on themes of family and togetherness, as poignantly depicted in his painting, “Bringing Home the Tree”. These works focus on the people who live on farms and the special opportunities afforded them through that lifestyle. However, one of the things that have made this artist so popular is the timeless appeal that his works have.

Another famous artist, Warren Kimble, also brings a sense of timeless appeal to this category, although in a different way than Sorenson. Kimble's works primarily feature the buildings, animals, and activities necessary to keep a farm alive. His style is highly focused on the graphic elements of the subject and his works display a flat style that is as surreal as it is charming.

Farm art has captured the imagination and hearts of people around the world with its depictions of an idyllic world. For some, they're attracted to the homely, graphic qualities of this category, while for others this form of art is a reminder of taking time doing what's really important to them and their families. Regardless of the reason, farm art is a timeless choice for home decor.
