Portuguese photographer Adelino Gonçalves spent several years living in France but now lives in the United Kingdom. He loves the technical side of photography and always strives to get the best out of his camera. He continually searches for perfection and enjoys the process of searching for it; even though he may never achieve it he finds it exciting to try. On the other hand, he says that perfection is very much like beauty as it is in the eyes of the beholder. Gonçalves says that Photography is not his profession but his passion. He loves photography and can not imagine doing something different. While at it, he doesn’t feel like he’s working but rather as is he’s in an exciting adventure. Gonçalves lives in Gloucestershire, a wonderful part of England which feeds his inspiration and gives him the motivation to get up at odd hours on winter mornings.

He’s self-motivated but also gets much motivation from the feedbacks he gets from his clients. His art has also received positive reviews from professional art critics and he takes this as a primary source of inspiration. Gonçalves does not photograph people because that makes him feel uneasy. He believes that he can get a perfect scene anywhere anytime when he’s walking or travelling. He’s very keen to detail and would capture moments that surprise even the professional photographers. His art is in many collections, galleries, homes and institutions around the world. His art are highly priced because their demand is high.
