Her background as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine is what she credits for helping her to create works of art that speak to the sense of unknown and mystery in the individuals who view them. Michelle is a firm believer in the regenerative and inspirational power of texture, color, and design, and derives her energy from her surroundings to imagine paintings that foster an environment of relaxation and peace and soothe the soul. She refrains from adding titles to her work because she doesn’t want to influence the viewers’ interpretation of the art. Michelle currently lives in Los Angeles, California and her husband and their two dogs.
