Vintage Navy Posters

These unique recruiting images tried to recruit both men and women for the naval forces. These two types of prints were vastly different however, with women vintage U.S. Navy posters focusing on the Red Cross and care packages while men were enlisted to fight and build, as seen in the military print 'Build For Your Navy!'

Many of these military prints also depicted war photography. These works aren't like the war photography available to modern audiences and rarely depicted actual war scenes.
