Maryland Art

Maryland is one of the smallest but also the wealthiest state in America, yet it is not affluence or size that is celebrated by gifted artists. With a history of almost 500 years, the state saw plenty of action and that is why the artwork depicting past events are sought after by history buffs.

Some Maryland wall art focuses on the events following the colonization of the state, with most of them being paintings created centuries ago.

This history-rich state is also famous for its natural beauty, while its small size makes it easy to explore in its entirety. Thick forests and beautiful waterways have always served as a source of inspiration for painters, so it comes as no surprise that there are so many Maryland printings celebrating nature. The state is frequently and affectionately referred to as America in miniature, since it has a varied topography.
