Slippers Art

Strict social norms are frequently limiting our freedom and in most cases they do it for a good reason, as order needs to rule. On those rare occasions when we get to choose for ourselves with complete disregard to the aforesaid concerns, we tend to favour convenience and comfort. Slipper prints project this image of relief in the same manner that the footwear itself does and if you wonder where such artwork can be found, look no further than Picasso.com.

Apparently there is a market for slipper posters and those who accidentally land on the corresponding page at Picasso.com will better understand why. There is more than meets the eye about these slipper printings, as most of them are not simple images of the aforesaid footwear. Some of them are the creation of painters who saw beauty in places that others didn’t even consider and decided that it is worth spending the time to project that beauty on canvas.

Equally interesting are the slipper drawings which focus mostly on the French slippers, which are truly something else, in terms of both look and comfort. Those who need to decorate a nursery or pretty much any room where the decor needs to be light and mildly amusing will also find something suitable here. Bamboo and Fuzzy flip flops are featured in some slipper prints, with all of them being painted in bright colors that have the power of transforming any decor and lighten up the room.
