Luis Argerich says he’s a very crazy nightscape photographer. He comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina and he teaches at College. Argerich is a southernmost and huge fan of the Green Bay Packers. A father of two kids, his main focus is on wide-field and Nightscapes astrophotography. He likes anything related to astronomy. If there's a conjunction, meteor shower, an eclipse or other astronomical event near his home he'll be there. He also likes storms, weather, clouds and atmospheric phenomena. Argerich has a gallery for astronomical events that he often updates. He’s a positivist photographer and therefore tries to avoid sad images or messages from his work. He likes to photograph natural scenes without any human intervention and to translate what he imagines or sees in front of the scene to the viewer.

Argerich has a passion-hate relationship with clouds and waves, sometimes it's a war and sometimes they are big friends. Argerich tries to show the beauty of the night sky without making collages or composites. When possible he shoots the scene in a single shot but sometimes he needs to take several frames to make a wide panorama of the scene, or to increase the dynamic range or the depth of field.
