Girls Art

Decorating your girls' room with girls art is a great way to let her express her own style. One thing that’s important to remember is that as kids grow, their tastes change so helping her choose a versatile theme and design will save you time and money in the future. Whether you choose a girls poster or a painting, you should keep in mind both her tastes and style. One thing to consider when deciding on the girls room decor you want to use are the colors. Not all girls’ rooms need to be pink! While many young girls love pink, rooms that are multicolored will help insure that she loves her room for years to come, even when her favorite color changes to purple next month, and to green after that.

Bright stripes or polka-dot patterns for bedding and curtains are one way to add color. Shag rugs and brightly colored wall decor are other ways to add accent colors throughout the room. Artist Louise Carey offers a great selection of teenage girl room decor that’s both colorful and modern.

When deciding on a style, a shabby chic look is a great way to go for a feminine and more mature look. Furniture can be repainted in white or assorted pastel colors as a fun project to do together. Throw pillows and lamp shades are inexpensive ways to add shabby chic styled accents in the room, and flower art or mirrors in white or silver frames finish off the look.

Whatever style and color themes your daughter chooses for her room, the best part is the decorating itself. Use it as a reason to spend some time together, talk about things she likes and share ideas. Knowing that you worked on her room together will make it that much more special for your little princess.

Hello Kitty Prints

Hello Kitty started as a Japanese phenomena in the mid 70's and since then has reached across the globe to inspire the imagination and hearts of young girls in many different nations. Art of the bobtail cat can be found in different variations, from posters of the Hello Kitty looking toward the viewer with her iconic bowtie, whether she is riding a bike through a field or just standing around in her trademark stance.

Posters and paintings of the young girl icon exist in countless ways, but almost all of them share the same two traits: they are almost always colorful and always display the bobtail cat looking onward in her well-known cutesy look, no matter what the rest of the subject matter is.

Hello Kitty art is a great way to bring the favored Japanese character of a young girl and place it on the wall so the wide-faced kitten can be seen at any time of day or night. These colorful images are often in bright pink or natural colors and feature the words hello kitty across the bottom or the top to make it stand out for what it is.

A perfect complement to any young girl's room, Hello Kitty art can add a bright and colorful flash of style against a wall that might otherwise be lacking it, bringing with it the very popular pink which can sometimes be seen as one of the favorite colors of pre-adolescent girls in a way which can also bring one of their favorite cartoon characters to life.
