Reptile Art

Amphibian art has grown in popularity among modern audiences. These works display a wide range of animals, from tiny frogs to large alligators and crocodiles. The variety of animals depicted in these works is truly astounding and wild animal pictures allow viewers a glimpse into a world that most of them have never encountered before.

Reptile images that are present in amphibian art are diverse and because of this it's hard to pin down everything that's included in this art category. However, snakes, frogs, lizards, and other reptiles are displayed fairly evenly. Frog art, in particular, has gained prominence among modern audiences. The graphic opportunities that frogs provide artists are immense and have only grown as more colorful amphibian species are being discovered.

Another popular subject for amphibian canvas art is the turtle. Turtles have fascinated art audiences with their unique shells, shapes, and sizes. Many people use turtle art as a symbol of zen, or oneness with life, as seen in the whimsical turtle painting, 'Yoga Turtle II'. Realistic turtle prints are just as harmonious, however. Photographic turtle art like 'Turtle on a Lily Pad, Bahamas' is one example of how these wild animal pictures can reflect harmony and symbiosis in nature.

As a category, amphibian canvas art is immense. However, that same diversity is also what makes this form of reptile art so fascinating. With amphibian prints, people are able to explore the qualities of some of the most unrecognized and unappreciated forms of life that is available in nature.
